Kacey's
Kittens are breeders
of beautiful, pedigreed Ragdoll cats. Ragdolls
get their name from their tendency to go limp in your arms. Their docile, sweet
temperament, graceful lines, and striking blue eyes make them an
increasingly popular breed for pet owners. Ragdolls are large
cats that posses a muscular build They are slow to mature,
reaching full size in 3-4 years (mature males can exceed 20
lbs!) The coat is soft, silky, and lustrous with moderately
long, dense fur. Unlike many long hair breeds, the Ragdoll's
coat is easy to maintain, non-matting and low shedding. Ragdolls
are "pointed" cats that display a light color body with darker
"points" on the face, ears, paws and tail. Kittens are born all
white and the points gradually darken with age. The most popular
colors are seal (dark brown) and blue (slate gray) with

of these (chocolate and lilac) occurring less frequently. There
are three typical patterns. These include colorpoint, mitted,
and bicolor. Colorpoints have the color on the face, ears, paws
and tail, with no white appearing on the body. Mitteds have a
similar appearance to the colorpoint, but have white on the
chin, underbelly and all paws. Bicolors have white in many
places including the face (taking the shape of an inverted "V"),
legs, and throat. In addition, Ragdolls may exhibit a tiger-like
striping where they have color. This new, much sought after
variant is called lynx.
